Dr. Stone recently presented on the college admissions essay to more than 80 college counselors at the international meeting of the Independent Educational Consultants Association in Boston, MA. Along with Dr. Rebecca Joseph, Dr. Stone joined admissions directors from Smith College and Syracuse University.
Dr. Stone speaks at international conference in Arizona
Dr. Stone and Steven Mercer, EdD presented "The Epistomology of Fit" to over one hundred college counselors at the Independent Educational Consultants Association meeting in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Stone's focus was on the process of comparing programs, institutions, and resources at colleges, and how best to tour campuses.

Dr. Stone shared her insights and methods for helping students pen great college essays at a book discussion and signing event at the Brown University bookstore on September 3, 2015.
Dr. Stone speaks at Nat'l College Advocacy Group, Los Angeles
Presenting with Brittany Slaughter, Associate Director of Admissions at Elon University, Dr. Stone addressed an audience of financial planners and college counselors on the benefits of a strong a college essay. The talk entitled, Better Essays = Better Scholarships, Dr. Stone presented case studies of Campanile students whose essays played a role in the awarding of large merit-based scholarships.

Dr. Stone Presents at National Conference
Dr. Stone presented on “Rehabbing Your Image” – to more than 50 college counselors at the Independent Educational Consultants Association national conference in Baltimore, MD. Presenting with Dr. Stone were Dr. Rebecca Joseph of Cal State LA, Valerie Gregory of University of VA, and Evan Reader of the Cooke Foundation. The trip to Baltimore included a visit with a former student, now attending Johns Hopkins University.
